This trail is both the longest single track in Switzerland and the only one certified as IMBA Epic Trail (from 2014), therefore it can be legitimately considered as one of the bests trails in the world.
The route goes from Jakobshorn to Filisur, and to get back to Davos (where the car is left), it is suggested to use the train from Filisur.
To reach the start of the trail, there are two possibilities: using the mountain railway up till the top, or bicycling on a gravel road, which however will turn out being long and demanding, therefore reducing your energies for the rest of the day (Important: check when the mountain railway is open!). From Jakobshorn, more than 80% of the 38 total kilometers will be on single tracks, with a total descent of 2hkm. As if this wasn't enough, you will be surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes you will ever see from a mountain bike track.
Last but not least, it is important to study accurately the route before and to bring a GPS, because the trail is not always well signed.
